The making surf craft has been intertwined with the culture and mysticism of riding waves since the beginning. Despite changes in materials, as an Indigenous craft and art form, making surfboards by hand has largely remained the same in terms of process, methodology, design and heritage.

What sets surfing apart is the reliance and immersion in a force of nature, and few things are comparable to the emotive and visceral connection that ties these experiences to a handmade object.

I have learned under and from Native Hawaiian, South Floridian, and Venezuelan craftsman, and building on these diverse experiences, as well as incorporating my own lifelong interactions with the ocean and waves, build unique craft for specific regions and waves.

Below are some of the craft I have made start to finish for comrades and the occasional client; from San Francisco, to Peru, to Hawai'i, to the Basque Country.
